Track Location
The Lodgepole Valley Motocross Track is located ten miles east of Sidney, Nebraska near the town of Sunol. To get to the track, take I-80 10 miles east of Sidney, Nebraska to the Sunol Exit 69, go North 1.5 miles on the paved road, track is on the east side of the road. The track sits on 160 acres of rolling hills. Races are held throughout out the year. Membership dues help fund the maintenance and operation of this great riding area in Western Nebraska. The facility has four designated riding areas that are perfect for all skill levels and ages of off-road enthusiasts.

Motocross Track
The motocross track is 1.5 miles in length and features an 18 bike starting gate. Built over rolling terrain, this track features table tops, double jumps, a rhythm section, uphill double jumps and other natural terrain obstacles like off camber turns and G-outs.
ATV Track
The newly redesigned ATV track features many jumps and corners that have been designed to be ATV friendly. Doubles, tabletops, berms and rolling terrain make this a great place to ride your quad.
Pee Wee Track
The Pee Wee track is newly designed for the smaller riders who are not quite ready for the bigger tracks. This track is smaller in scale and is designed with safety in mind. The track is located south east of the main track.
Terrace Trail
The Terrace Trail is a natural terrain trail that is 2.8 miles in length. It follows the contours of terraced hills and draws with many corners. This is a great riding spot for those who prefer trail riding over track riding.
Track Rules
The Lodgepole Valley Motocross Track is a public riding area that is funded by membership dues to the Sidney Cycle Association, Inc. Our goal is to provide high-quality dirt tracks that are well maintained and safe for off-road motorcycle and ATV riders to practice their sport. In order to maintain a quality environment (that riders and their families want to support) we require all riders to follow the rules outlined below. Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in a loss of riding privileges!
1. Track is open from dawn to dusk every day
2. All persons entering the facility must sign the release form located in the red mailbox. This included riders and non-riders. Everyone must sign in! Minors must have parent’s signature!
3. Obey all posted signs
4. 5 mph speed limit in parking area
5. Keep off the grass
6. No cutting the track, the only exception is if there is an emergency.
7. All riders must wear helmets. Boots, gloves goggles and other protective gear is highly recommended
8. Parental supervision is required for children on the Pee Wee track
9. When riding with younger, or less experienced riders please stay alert and watch out for them. No dangerous or overly aggressive riding when passing these riders.
10. No alcohol or drugs permitted on premises.
11. No profanity. Remember, this is a family riding area.
12. No firearms or fireworks allowed on premises.
13. No fires
14. No off-road driving in trucks, cars, jeeps or other vehicles. These vehicles only allowed on designated entry roads and parking areas.
15. Dispose of waste and garbage properly. Trash containers are located in the parking area. Old oil, gas and antifreeze should be collected in a container and taken away with you. Do not pour these toxic liquids onto the ground or place in trash containers.

Nebraska Recreational Use Statute
The Sidney Cycle Association owns and operates the Lodgepole Valley Motocross Track and the land it is located on. The land is open to the public to ride at no charge thanks to the Nebraska Recreational Use Statute. This statute was enacted by the Nebraska Legislature to protect land owners from liability when allowing public recreational use of their land.
